Crying Meri: field work

For the last week I’ve been working in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, on a project “Crying Meri”. This is my second visit to PNG and finally after 6 days of working in the capital city I’ve managed my escape to Lae, PNG’s second largest city. Crime situation here is even worst than in Moresby, local men look scary and almost everyone carries big knives.

I’m going to stay couple of days in Lae, and than will continue my trip to Goroka, Kundiawa and Minj, where I will be visiting victims of domestic and street violence.
