Resent sorcery attacks in PNG

One more woman beheaded in PNG (Bougainville Island) after being accused of sorcery.

Mrs Helen Rumbali was the leader of the South Bougainville Women’s Federation, a former school teacher and strong advocate for women’s rights and the development of Bougainville. She died last Friday after being attacked with knives and axes in the village of Lopele. Her sister was also kidnapped and tortured and is now in hiding with other members of the family.
Rest in peace brave Helen Rumbali!
